Ever since the day my daughter was born, I began calling her "My Angel Girl." Who knew that name would so drastically change my life! After a career in banking and finance, I thought I would hate being a stay at home mom. My job was always my focus and now I was going to be reduced to changing poopy diapers and feeding bottles! How boring! However, as many moms realize, being a mom is the hardest job! So many moms work two or more jobs, yet the smile from your child is the brightest part of the day!
After much thinking of how I could contribute to my family and be with my daughter on a more full time basis, it clicked! Why not offer every busy mom out there the opportunity to shop for the highest quality children's products via the internet! They can shop from the comfort of home, without dragging their child(ren) through the store. (Which we know can be a torturous event at times!) Not only will it be convenient, but they can find unique items. I personally notice that after a while, all of the kids look the same in their fashions from the usual stores (and us moms know which stores those are!) After many months learning the "ropes" of the retail and internet world, Angel Girl was opened!
I visited the Dallas Market Center, attended Children's Fashion Shows, talked to those in the industry, and viewed many lines. I personally hand select and view all items prior to bringing them to the store. It has been an exciting road so far, and we hope that we continue to have Our Happy Angels across the country. It has been amazing to see where our orders come from - everywhere from CA, NJ, WV, TX and so on. For those of you that already have become familiar with us, we keep the majority (other than custom order) of our items in stock. I feel it is important that I personally inspect the products before sending them out. All of our adorable items are wrapped in pink and chocolate tissue paper and tied with a chocolate tulle ribbon. Although you're shopping from home, it is important that you receive that special boutique treatment. Right?
As an internet shopper myself, I often feel uneasy ordering when I have never dealt with a company before. I wonder, who is this person? Are they qualified? Will I actually get my goods? Etc, Etc .My hope is that you feel confident in shopping with us, from our secure credit card operations to our superior shipping and products. As a mom, I understand the stages of children - from trying to put a onesie on a newborn, to clothing appropriate for the crawling stage, walking and playing on the playground, and more! When choosing items, I think about all of these stages in relation to the sizing and outfit composition. Of course, it has to have style and uniqueness which is of ultimate importance! I even check if it is washable! My hope is the attention to the fine details puts you at ease!
